Daniel’s racing journey began at just six years old, diving into Dirt Karting with remarkable dedication. Over eight years, he secured multiple state titles across South Australia, the Northern Territory, and Western Australia, capped by the highlight of back-to-back Australian Dirt Kart Titles.
In 2007, at only 16, Daniel made the leap to Sprintcar racing. His karting success and racecraft translated seamlessly, quickly establishing him as one of South Australia’s finest drivers and a standout on the national stage. Known for his passion and precision, Daniel is meticulous about car maintenance and safety, qualities that have fueled his ongoing success.
As a driver to watch in the upcoming season, Daniel continues to push the limits, driven by his love for the sport and an unwavering commitment to excellence.

THE Bohud Racing team and their driver Michael Stewart are without a shadow of doubt one of the newest forces on the Australian Sprintcar racing scene.
Based in Unanderra on the south coast of NSW, the Bohud Racing team might be one of Australia’s newest Sprintcar teams, but they have certainly made their mark within their first two seasons so far in the class aboard the NS # 14 Triple X Sprintcar with their talented driver in 28-year-old Michael Stewart, which includes numerous feature-race wins at tracks such as Sydney International Speedway, Dubbo Speedway and Canberra’s ACT Speedway.
Apart from competing within their home state of NSW, the Bohud Racing team has stood tall when competing at interstate events, where this just past 2023-24 season, they picked up a second-place finish in the final Ultimate Sprintcar Championship point standings at Toowoomba’s Hi-Tec Oils Speedway in Queensland by virtue of multiple minor place finishes on the podium up against some of the country’s leading Sprintcar racers.
The Bohud Racing team prides itself on being as professional as possible both on and off the track, and that is one of the main reasons they are regarded as one of the emerging leading teams on the Australian Sprintcar racing scene. Michael Stewart and the Bohud Racing team are proud to be associated with the Highside Track Apparel brand.

Hi, I’m Tarhlea Apelt, driver of the Q97 Apelt Floors Motorsport 410 Sprintcar. I’ve been racing for 15-years, starting off in Junior Quarter Midgets, moving on to Formula 500s (as a junior and senior competitor) and for the last 3-years have been racing in 410 Sprintcars. We’re a small, family run team based out of Toowoomba, Queensland, making us the first female Sprintcar team based out of the Toowoomba region.
As a team, we’ve had plenty of success across our 15-years in the sport, with multiple wins and podium finishes, these results helping me get rewarded with a position in the Speedway Australia Rising Star Program back in 2019. Whilst we are still relatively fresh to the Sprintcar scene, we’ve been faced with plenty of challenges and success, with our best efforts in a Sprintcar being a top 10 finish to this date. As we roll into the 2024/25 season, we look forward to travelling across the country, with racing taking place in Queensland, NSW, Victoria and South Australia on a busy schedule. We hope we can hit the ground running and chase some good results!
